Even though we’re only a few weeks removed from the midterms, Donald Trump has already announced his candidacy for the 2024 presidential election. I discussed why I believe Trump chose to make his announcement at such a politically inopportune moment in my last post, but with the 2024 election cycle technically now underway I’ve been thinking a lot about how the G.O.P.’s primary might shake out.
